Coriell Institute for Medical Research is currently seeking a talented individual to join the Communications and Development team. Reporting to the Director, Communications and Development, this position is responsible for providing support and leadership to the department, and its Coriell colleagues, in the areas of communications, public relations, fundraising, and philanthropic development. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a well-versed background in innovative thinking and proven best practices in relationship management. We are primarily interested in meeting potential candidates with 5-7 years experience in one or more of the areas referenced, and in particular, with a specific focus on not for profit, top tier organizations.
Under the direction of the department head, the incumbent for this role will handle a number of projects and initiatives essential to the outreach efforts of Coriell. The management of Coriells Salesforce contact database; donor relationship coordination, including new and current foundation and corporation partners; proposal development and execution; research of funding best practices; supporting the Director with Trustee relations; and speaking on behalf of Coriell at internal and external functions are among the responsibilities for this role.
