Our client is a global pharmaceutical company. They are looking to add a Digital Communications Manager to their team in the Philadelphia suburbs. You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of digital communication channels.
*Lead the development, completion, launch and maintenance of the company’s new US website.
*Manage all site content (writing, editing, proofreading), finalize content structure and navigation and work with creative design team to ensure visual consistency.
*Work closely with the technical, creative and business functions across the organization as well as external vendors, to ensure timely development, alignment and coordination/support for website launch.
*Launch the new website when ready (including related internal and external communications, pre-launch testing, SEO, mobile optimization, etc.).
*Maintain and refresh content and functionality, monitor performance, usage statistics and trends; identify and evaluate improvement options; introduce new content and technology where appropriate.
*Lead the ongoing development and maintenance of the US intranet:
*Act as the primary “owner” of the US intranet, and first point of contact for US users (built in Sharepoint intranet platform).
*Manage intranet site content at the US level- maintain and refresh content proactively (writing, editing and updating), adding new topic areas as relevant; train and support internal content editors.
*Work closely with local and global intranet teams for content, design and technical support.
*Promote effective use of the intranet among employees through ongoing internal communications.
*Support and assist with intranet-based internal video communications.
*Support the company’s social media activities.
*Work with the corporate communications and marketing teams to develop and maintain social media activities that complement existing communications strategies, in alignment with company’s social media policies.
*Support development of content for company presences on various social platforms (Facebook, blogs, other), including online advocacy, brand-related campaigns, community-outreach efforts, promotions, etc.
*Monitor the company’s social presence regularly as well as impact of social media programs, and analyze, review and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
*Regularly provide feedback insights gained from social media monitoring into relevant teams, to help them evolve their strategies in a timely fashion.
*Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications.
*5+ years experience in online content management, writing and editing for the web, graphic design and site management.
*Knowledge and experience in using social media.
*Advanced knowledge of Sharepoint.
*Graphic design skills (Photoshop, InDesign,).
*Good technical understanding, web savvy, can pick up new tools quickly.
*Must be a dynamic, self motivated individual.
*Must be able to build consensus and work effectively across internal and external functions and teams.
*Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and changing environment.
*Exceptional communication and organization skills.
*Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry a plus.
Base salary $80K-$100K plus 13% target bonus.
