The Marketing Project Manager is responsible for managing key corporate and franchise client projects with the goal of delivering each project on time, within budget, and within the scope of work. This role work within the Marketing Department to develop all marketing efforts throughout The Simple Greek brand to achieve strategic goals and gain competitiveness across the market.
•Coordinate project management activities, resources, and information for the flawless execution of projects.
•Provides outstanding customer service to internal (corporate employee) and external (Franchise Owners) audiences.
•Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget.
•Support the Marketing department through initiative, project tracking, and management.
•Oversees the marketing process for each new store opening including graphics, media planning, print kits, and process management.
•Works in partnership with Social Media Manager to establish store presence on platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google Reviews, Yelp, etc.
•Responsible for planning and implementation assistance of Local Store Marketing projects.
•New Resource Center (portal) management for internal clients along with vendors.
•Plans Marketing roll-outs, calendar, plan-o-grams, manuals, and guides.
•Measures project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
•Works closely and cross functionally with the rest of the Marketing team along with Operations departments.
Requirements – What Do We Look For?
•Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field, preferred.
•Three (3) to five (5) years of Project Management experience.
•Strong project management skills (build, maintain, deliver, and lead an effective project plan within budget).
•Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously with great attention to detail and organizational skills.
•Excellent follow through and problem-solving abilities.
•Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a customer service work ethic and positive attitude.
•Efficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
•Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite files including Acrobat, InDesign, and Illustrator.
•Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills (both written and verbal).
•Creative and Web project experience, preferred.
•This job operates in an office setting where this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
•While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand for long periods of time; walk; use hands to finger; handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms, lift up to 50 pounds.
•Must be willing and able to operate all equipment used in store operations.
•Ability to work some weekends, evenings, and mornings and some holidays.
•This role must be willing to travel, up to 20% of the time.
•The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and light traffic.While performing the duties of the job, the employee may be required to taste and smell the products offered.
