Public Relations Consultant: Ft. Washington, PA

McNeil Nutritionals, part of Johnson & Johnson Consumer Companies, Inc. is seeking a Public Relations Consultant, to be located in Ft. Washington, PA for a minimum one-year assignment.

The Public Relations Consultant will act as part of the Communications Department with primary responsibility for maximizing the effectiveness of the Nutritional brand products and brand communications programs. This consultant must be able to manage multiple tasks, have strong written and verbal communications skills, intellectual curiosity, strong computer skills and the ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a dynamic, fast-paced PR environment
* Preferred majors for this candidate include Communications and Journalism
* Exceptional writing and communication skills
* Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Superior attention to detail and organizational skills
* Forward thinker who takes initiative
* High level of creative energy
* Social media expertise
* Prior Food or Dietary Supplement PR experience a plus

The primary responsibilities for a Public Relations Associate include, but are not limited to:
* Responsibility for leading and overseeing the development and execution of the 2014 PR program for the SPLENDA(r), NECTRESSE(r) and LACTAID(r) brands, including social media programs
* Assists Manager on category programming for Johnson & Johnson Nutritionals brands
* Coordinates with Issues Management team on issues related requests
* Assist Sr. Director and Director on select JnJ Consumer projects, projects include but are not limited to: Facebook FAQs and responses; Merchandizing PR results to the Sales team; and Johnson & Johnson cross-brand initiatives such as Healthy Essentials(r)
* Develops and disseminates internal communication bulletins on pertinent Nutritionals brand programs and placements
* Develops, manages and helps to execute select internal events
* Manages Copy Approval and Health Care Compliance process for all Nutritionals brands
* Manages all product requests and house orders for Nutritionals brands
* Manages measurement & reporting results processes for Nutritionals brands
* Ensures all media and social media activities are in compliance with Johnson & Johnson Communications and FTC policies and procedures
* Distributes program recaps and results
* Maintains all internal distribution lists, external A, B, trade and KOL lists
* Flags and routes all pertinent monthly coverage for the Nutritionals brands
* Represents the Nutritionals brands at internal and external events as needed
* Additional projects as directed by team members
