We are looking for an experienced corporate communications professional to join our global Corporate Communications team. The position is based in either Newark, Delaware or Munich, Germany.

In this role, you will lead divisional communications for the Fabrics business division, with a focus on supporting divisional strategy and creating exceptional associate experiences. Gore fabrics products provide comfort and protection in challenging environments and in everyday life, enabling wearers to safely and confidently achieve and experience more – from hiking or your daily run to military operations and fighting fires. Specific commitments include planning and executing internal communication programs that increase knowledge and engagement among Gore associates. Experience with communication strategy, tactical implementation across a variety of channels and collaboration with external partners are critical.
The ideal candidate will:
•Be passionate about providing support for a world-class manufacturer

•Recognize the importance of building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships
•Working with leaders and other associates to develop and implement effective communication strategies and tactics that share information, support change and enhance engagement among Fabrics Division associates
•Serving as a skilled, knowledgeable communications consultant to leaders and other associates, especially regarding the associate experience
•Assessing the effectiveness of communications and engagements and modifying as needed
•Developing and maintaining productive relationships with agencies, consultants and other external partners
•Ensuring that communication efforts embody the GORE® brand in both message and design
•Collaborating with other Gore Enterprise communications teammates in communications planning to create desired experiences for associates globally
•Participating with other team members as a contributor to the ongoing development of the global communications function
Required Job Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, business or other relevant field
•Minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate communications
•Demonstrated cross-cultural experience and skills
•Excellent writing, editing and message development skills in a variety of media
•Demonstrated track record of assessing needs, conceiving strategy, working with leaders and executing varied communications plans for internal stakeholders
•Experience communicating in a corporate change or transformation environment
•Strong project management ability and experience
•Ability to build credibility and strong working relationships, globally and regionally
•Mature judgment, including the ability to navigate ambiguity
•Experience leveraging the work of external partners
•Skill at working on multiple projects concurrently
•Flexibility to travel up to 30%, including internationally
