Corporate Communications Leader – Berwyn PA

Trinseo, a NYSE-listed global materials company based in the Westerns suburbs of Philadelphia, is looking for a high energy corporate communications leader to manage internal and external communications, public relations, investor communications, and crisis communications.

Working with colleagues in Europe, U.S. and China, you will be setting and driving communications strategies that will build the company’s brand and reputation with customers, investors, employees, and the news media.

You’ll manage a small team of communications professionals, as well as agency partners to create and drive programs, working with the CEO, CFO and other executive team members. Role is full-time, office-based role in Berwyn, PA, and reports to the Vice President of Public Affairs, Sustainability and EHS.

Experience/Qualifications
 11-15 years of corporate communications experience in a corporate environment, preferably a publicly traded or global company.
 Strong skills in message/theme development – including excellent writing/editing skills
 Strategic thinking and planning: can convert a challenge or situation into a communications plan/strategy to drive organizational objectives and build reputation.
 Experience serving as company spokesperson with the media for routine news and crises; experience conducting media training and coaching CEOs/senior executives on communications.
 Hands-on leader who can strategize, design, lead and direct programs, but also roll up sleeves to write, edit and implement.
 Drive, flexibility, ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a team environment.
 Proven leadership experience in directly supervising employees
 Bachelor’s degree in business, public relations, journalism, marketing or similar.
