If so, then this Employee & Leadership Communications position may be for you.

We are looking for someone energetic to join a dynamic team to help simplify complex messages to various internal stakeholder groups. In this role you will work with various levels in the organization as a counselor in communications. You will create and execute programs, as well as advise leaders and managers on employee communications. This includes aligning messaging with company objectives, understanding employee information needs, gathering and writing employee communications that address those needs, shepherding these communications through reviews and approvals, and managing highly visible projects.

This individual will understand and communicate business, HR, and financial information clearly and accurately to employees and management. This includes the ability to translate complex topics into language that is readily accessible to and understandable by all employees while maintaining accuracy and readability.

This position reports to the Senior Director of Communications for North America. The candidate will interface closely with NAM Region leadership, other functions, as well as Siemens Corporate and global. The candidate will also work closely with other areas of communication, including creative services, events management, exhibits/tradeshows, marketing communications, brand management, PR, and web operations.

The successful candidate must demonstrate strong project leadership, excellent communications skills, creativity, resourcefulness, and an understanding of and interest in the evolving online world, and a keen ability to analyze metrics and draw actionable conclusions. Key to the success is the ability to network well in a complex and cross-functional environment, and work effectively within a matrix organization.

· Develop and execute high-quality internal strategic communications programs to create high level of employee engagement (objectives, messages, strategy, tactics, timeline, budget, and measurement) and strengthen perception of NAM leadership.
· Identify and implement the most appropriate mix of traditional and new media to effectively create and influence positive perception and call to action among the employee base.
· Collaborate with counterparts at Siemens Corporate, Global, and other Employee Communication stakeholders to develop and communicate high-level as well as specific messaging appropriate for internal audiences through multiple channels.
· Support Town Hall meetings, conference calls, employee messaging about Region performance, key news and events, videos, and other messaging to elevate the leader and Healthineers brand internally.
· Support company-sponsored programs.
· Support corporate publications with NAM related stories.
· Update NAM information–fact sheets, talking points, presentations, and other related materials on a regular basis.
· Maintain high visibility and frequent contact with NAM leadership and other executive management.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
· Qualified candidates must have at least 10 years of experience with a strong emphasis in employee communication, internal company journalism, or comparable work.
· Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field (MBA or Masters preferred). Experience in healthcare field is also preferred.
· Exceptional strategic thinking, project/campaign management, and execution skills.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills; including writing, editing and proofing skills.
· High level of attention to detail and creativity.
· Individual must be competent in the use of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
· Proven ability to work well in a highly matrixed organization, and with managers and employees of all levels in advising and gathering, preparing and vetting material in a poised and tactful manner.
· Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and competing deadlines.
· Strong business acumen, project management skills, and proven ability to drive productivity measures and gain operational efficiencies.
· Highly motivated and dynamic, with an ability to learn at an accelerated pace.
· Experience in collaborating globally, managing global projects with international counterparts.
· Position requires 15%-20% travel.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
· Change management and/or organizational development experience a plus.
· Experience in multi-channel communications, including events, digital, and social media. Video production experience is a plus
