Comcast’s Corporate Internal Communications team creates and executes the internal communications strategies that support the business and culture of this exciting and growing Fortune 50 company. They are looking for a seasoned leader with a strong digital communications and technology background to support the Internal Communications function as it develops, implements, and maintains, numerous digital communications platforms like their Intranet, broadcast email tool, video delivery system and Search. This person will work in close partnership with the IT organization to ensure they deliver strategically and thoughtfully against the requirements of the Internal Communications function.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Evolve and lead the implementation of Comcast’s 3-year strategy for digital communications which includes evolving the Company Intranet and implementing a Digital Experience Platform.
Expertly manage the development, implementation, and evolution, of their digital ecosystem of communications platforms and capabilities, including the Intranet (mobile and desktop experience), broadcast email platform, enterprise search platform, video hosting and delivery capability, as well as enterprise subscriptions and notifications and enterprise alerts capability on their intranet.
Working with IT, lead the transition from an on-prem Search solution to Cloud. Continue to envision and optimize how they are using Search strategically to enhance the reach of their communications.

Working with IT, organize and implement a unified profile solution which enables communicators to better target content and reach a specific employee audience. Continue to evolve their metrics and analytics program to deliver actionable insights about user behavior on their platforms. Scale the metrics and analytics capabilities to support field and division level communicators.
Work with other areas of the business (IT, Human Resources, etc.) and communications partners to scope and better understand the holistic digital experience they are creating for their employees.
Stay current on industry trends and technological developments, sharing information and best practices to inform communications professionals and evolve their digital communications strategy.
Expertly plan and manage an annual communications technology budget and allocated resources (i.e., people and expense dollars).
Have experience partnering closely with IT organizations to drive technology implementations with a strong understanding and background in the strategic, tactical and operational needs of a communications function.
Lead other special projects, as needed by senior leadership.
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
S/he must be a self-starter who thinks strategically and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously with efficiency and effectiveness. S/he must be an excellent digital communications and technology leader who can think strategically and who can work across multiple departments (including headquarters and field teams) to facilitate consensus and buy-in. S/he will have a keen and creative digital communications intuition, solid interpersonal and presentation skills, while bringing a strong “cultural contribution” that compliments the unique Comcast culture.
IN ADDITION, WE SEEK
Minimum 15+ years’ experience in a digital communications leadership role. Additional communications experience (beyond digital) a plus.
Superior management skills and ability to influence and engage leadership, direct, and indirect reports and peers.
Specific experience working with Microsoft Office 365 and/or Workday is ideal.
A savvy, smart, efficient, fast-working, results-oriented creative technology leader.
Role is hands-on with need to think strategically and execute.

Experienced people manager, particularly in a matrixed environment.
Bachelor’s Degree in a technology or communications-related field is required. Experience or training in quantitative and qualitative research methods required.
