The Corporate Marketing Department is seeking dynamic and talented Marketing Interns to join our 2020 Summer Internship program!
Our Marketing Interns will work on real-time and meaningful projects; develop creative and technical skills; collaborate and network with various teams; and receive mentorship.
Key Responsibilities include:
*Learns basic functional areas within Marketing & Communications department.
*Participates in key department project work.
*Gains Understanding of UHS’s business model and how department functions as part of the business.
*Participates in department meetings to learn ongoing initiatives.
*Contributes to content strategy including planning calendar, drafting social media posts, measuring social engagement and reporting on social metrics.
*Works closely with the social media team who partner with UHS hospitals to deliver relevant, timely content that is engaging to our social audience.
*Adheres to and advocates for UHS social media best practices.
*As a team member, demonstrates professionalism and treats everyone as a guest to support the UHS focus on service excellence.
*Partners with facilities to strategically engage and grow their audiences, while also being responsive to ad hoc requests and agile in meeting tight timelines.
*Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Social Media, Journalism, Public Relations, Communication Studies, English, Professional Writing, Digital Media Technologies, or a related degree from accredited college or university
*Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications, Mac experience preferred
*Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite preferred
*Strong attention to detail
*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
*Strong problem solving and analytical skills
*Desire to learn and share ideas in a collaborative work environment
