Mgr. Social Media

Job Summary

Drive Cooper’s social media program and coordinate, create, and manage content on Cooper’s high-traffic, public-facing websites and digital properties.

Manage and implement social media strategies and tactics as well as ensure consistency of content across websites and digital properties in accordance with site, brand, and style guidelines.

Responsible to understand business goals and strategies to ensure social media, digital, website, blog, and email content is fresh and dynamic and supports those strategies.

Work with the director and other members of the team as well as the marketing team and outside firms to execute work.

Provide digital graphic art production support.

Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with some project management experience. Ability to keep track of multiple projects and create action plans to finish projects on time and on budget.

Excellent written and oral communication, including strong writing, editing, grammar, and proofreading skills; good listener. Familiar with AP Style.

Flexibility to work an alternative work schedule due to the nature of social and digital media (e.g., evening and weekend monitoring).

Knowledge of HTML, content management systems (Drupal and WordPress experience preferred), email marketing software (Listrak preferred), Adobe Photoshop, and MS Office. Dreamweaver knowledge a plus.

Ability to interact with senior management. Ability to work independently. Team player who also demonstrates leadership skills.

Strong customer-service focus.

Job Qualifications

Scheduled Days / Hours: M-F, 8 hrs; occasional wknds; Education:BACHELOR Required

Degree from a four-year college (e.g., B.A., B.S.).

3+ years’ digital content management and design experience; expert in Drupal or similar content management system.

Experience and in depth knowledge of social media channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Google+.

Prior experience with social media monitoring and using social media management tools, such as HootSuite.

Possess critical thinking, analytical, and creative talent to develop a concept, idea, fact or content into a strong visual presentation

Problem solving and follow-through.

Experience working cross-functionally with variety of marketing, communications, design and technical professionals.

In-depth knowledge and proficiency in social media. Strong ability to determine level of risk of created content and consumer response as well as ability to identify potential issues that could produce reputational harm and crisis communications.

Experience in the Health Care environment
