The Saint-Gobain corporate communications team is looking for a candidate who is able to help bridge the space between our corporate communications objectives and the communications objectives of our business units. Experience working with large, multi-national brands is a plus, but not a requirement. The ideal candidate is a natural connector, who enjoys spotting trends, knows a good story when they see one, and is creative in putting these together to tell stories across a variety of channels. The ideal candidate also enjoys studying data on the performance of this work so we can continually improve our outputs and performance.


Traditional and Social Media: Demonstrates acumen in social media and traditional media relations disciplines. For traditional media, study industry trends and bring creative ideas to the table that can help elevate our brand in the earned media sphere. For social media, advise on channel management, content for social media across a variety of platforms, and develop ideas for those platforms. Continue to grow media relations skills and consistently delivers results whether that is powered by an agency or on your own.

Writing: Is a clear, concise, persuasive, and solid writer. Where appropriate, show creativity in business writing, and bring ideas on how to evolve the ways our business communications get in the hands of audiences. Demonstrates this ability across all written materials and media

Agency management: Candidate will attend a number of meetings with our various traditional, social, digital and data agencies and be responsible for ensuring connectivity between work streams. Effectively be able to understand, translate and ideate around agency activities, reporting and metrics.


Understands/oversees/is involved in various work streams research and can provide analysis on where to improve.
Supports and reviews measurement efforts – and is able to spy insights that lead to opportunities to elevate the brand and its products
Demonstrates an ability to deliver quality work on multiple deadlines.
Ability to clearly and concisely communicate ideas in writing and in verbal communication and provide feedback on strategies, tactics and activities.

BA in PR, marketing, communications, or related industries required, or 4 year equivalent required.
8 years full-time experience preferably in an agency environment. Experience working with large, multinational brands is preferred.
Up-to-date on latest industry trends; able to articulate trends and potential clearly and confidently
Core understanding of the disciplines of branding and reputation management
Have a full understanding of media needs and media relationships
Must be a confident communicator and presenter, who is prepared to be open and share ideas, opinions & feedback. Must be honest, clear & direct.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills
Feel comfortable jumping between communications and brand disciplines when team collaboration is needed
Possess the ability to keep information confidential
Ability to work in high-stress environments
Be reliable and team-oriented
Be innovative
